The University of Chicago | Discovery Beyond Borders: Investments in Science and What Global Partnership Means for Chicago @UChicago | Uploaded July 2023 | Updated October 2024, 8 hours ago.
To tackle the world’s most pressing issues, collaboration across both scientific and geographic boundaries is critical. It takes many perspectives and infrastructure at scale to find viable solutions that create real global impact. Join Juan de Pablo for a conversation with President Paul Alivisatos (UChicago), Chairman and CEO Antoine Petit (CNRS), and Under Secretary for Science and Innovation Geri Richmond (U.S. Department of Energy) as they discuss institutional priorities, investments in science and technology and what global partnership means for scientific discovery and the City of Chicago.

This event was part of the launch of the CNRS-University of Chicago International Research Center for Fundamental Scientific Discovery.
