If you hookshot Molgera and then then deal the last damage to end the cycle in a few frame window, Molgera will stay stunned for a bit before ending the cycle. I think this is because after hookshotting Molgera he is given a mandatory stun timer. In this state if you hookshot Molgera in a 1 frame window (the last frame before he goes back up), you can rehookshot Molgera. If you hookshot early the stun timer is reset and you get another chance at the frame perfect hookshot.
