Hartland resident Bonnie Isbister was driving along Route 181 in Barkhamsted on Aug. 12 when she spotted two moose - an adult and a young moose - crossing the road.

"I was excited to see them, especially a little one," Isbister said. "I see them fairly often, but nothing since the springtime."
