Supporters of Lindsay Clancy, a Massachusetts mother accused of murdering her three children, rallied behind her outside Plymouth Superior Court in Plymouth, Mass., on Thursday. Clancy has claimed she was suffering from postpartum psychosis at the time of the killings.

Renee Kimball, the organizer of the event, said she felt compelled to act after seeing Clancy “end the day in shambles in court” while listening to prosecutors discuss the autopsies of her children.

“I think it’s important that she find support in people who can be her peace and be her calm. Calmness — that’s what she was begging for for a long time, and I think that’s what everyone here wants to give her today,” Kimball said.
