Camp No Limits started in 2004 to connect children and adults living with limb loss or differences with each other and available resources, said Mary Leighton, an occupational therapist and one of the camp’s founders.

Leighton said Quinnipiac University started working with Camp No Limits in 2015 as part of a student’s capstone project. Now in its 11th year, the Connecticut university remains the first and only educational institution to host the summer camp.
