Bright, colourful and absolutely delicious. Who wouldn't love this cake for their birthday? :)

Ingredients:

200g dark chocolate
200g butter
2 cups of fine sugar
330ml milk
2 eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups of plain flour
1/4 cup of self raising flour (if you don't have this use a total of 1 3/4 cups of plain flour, with a 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder)
1/4 cup of cocoa

Ganache:
200g chocolate (I used half dark, half milk chocolate)
1/3 cup of cream

14 Twix bars - 2 in each packet (this will depend on the size of your cake)
I used Maltesers and mixed m&m's
