The Twin Cities and Western Railroad has a job which primarily runs in the evening hours called the Glencoe Turn. Seeing it come back in daylight is VERY rare.
We'll chase this rare daylight version of the the Glencoe Turn on an enjoyable Sunday morning. Beginning in Glencoe, we see three geeps heading to their train light power, before screaming and smoking back east. As we wait for it to go east, we'll get a view of a recent TCWR track project - thermite welding which is upgrading things from the jointed rail. After smoking out of Glencoe, we'll see the train from the ground, and air in places such as Plato, and Norwood Young America. Lastly, we'll see it easing its way to Hopkins as it passes through Eden Prairie, MN near Tower E-14.
