The Union Pacific has some GREAT trains to see in the Minneapolis and Saint Paul area, with plenty of variety! One of these is the Y-SPBN Transfer that operates from Saint Paul to Minneapolis, and back. With older locomotives, lots of smoke, and stiff grades, there is ALWATS always neat to see this train roaring as it head towards Northtown Yard in Minneapolis.
We'll chase, follow, and shoot this train as it departs from South Saint Paul, works its way over to East Minneapolis, and eventually BNSF's Northtown Yard. Along the way, we'll see as this train screams up grades, make a TON of smoke, and moves through the Twin Cities. Lots of SD40Ns, GP38s, GP40s, and more are featured in this one! This train runs each day, and is NEAT to see!
