In this week’s episode of The Week in Gear, we travel back in tone to the 1950s, forward to the 1980s, and land squarely in 2025 with the Epiphone Back to the Future ES-345 - a cherry-red, gold-trimmed dream straight from the Enchantment Under the Sea dance. Gibson’s Custom Shop model is a £20k collector’s fantasy, but Epiphone’s take gives you the same movie-magic look and playability at a mortal human price.
We’ll also look at Reverend’s sustain-for-days RG-SUS II, the Orange King Compressor, Nobles’ tiny Mod Mini modulation box, and the new Valeton GP50 multi-FX that might just out-smart its big brother.
