What a Week: Mesa Goes Metallica, Fender Gets Fancy, and Boss Spins in Stereo

We’ve got a Fender Custom Shop Strat that’s part Jazzmaster, part relic’d dreamboat, and 100% financially irresponsible. Mesa Boogie decided it was time to resurrect the Mark II C++, also known as the Crunch Berries amp, just in time to make Metallica fans weep into their wallets. Boss shrunk down the RT-20 into a stereo-packed RT-2 rotary pedal that might actually stay on your board. Martin’s SC-10E acoustic confused everyone, including me. And Angel Vivaldi’s new Charvel seven-string might be the most tasteful shred machine I’ve ever seen.
