Some places in the Void cause both of your screens to go black. This is called a blackout. Blackouts are harmless, but annoying because they interrupt you if you're counting steps with the Step Counter in your Pokétch (even though the steps keep on going in the counter, you cannot see them). To make the blackout go away, you need to keep traveling in the Void until you hear the Jubilife music. Then do the same as you would do to refresh the graphics (choose something from the menu except save or exit and come back). Remember to be sure where you've gone those steps so you know where you are on your route if you're going to a certain place.
