In the October meeting of the Public Services working group, the presenter was Harbour Air Engineering and Quality Manager Erika Holtz, who will present "Pioneering Electric Seaplane Aviation – The Harbour Air Case Study."
Vancouver-based Harbour operates more than 40 seaplanes planes on the southwest coast of British Columbia and is developing an electric conversion kit for the De Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver seaplane using the magniX magni750 electric motor. Harbour It flew its first electric seaplane on December 10, 2019.
