Another update from our Aquarist Shoshana reporting from turtle hospital in Boston, USA with the team from New England Aquarium.
Here, she is helping to prepare fluids and medications which the turtle is receiving in the second half of the video. The type and amount of fluids and antibiotics are determined by the vets based on individual blood values.
These turtles have been rescued from the shores nearby where they wash up cold stunned and injured on their long migration south. Once rehabilitated they can be released to continue their journey to warmer waters.
