For this video, my pearl mix recipe is: 3.5 parts US Floetrol - 1 part Artists Loft Soft Body White - water to a thin consistency. The metallic colors were mixed 2 parts Floetrol to 1 part paint and water to thin.

The first is all about Cells & Lacing. Using different ingredients, consistencies and techniques, you'll learn the science of WHY different kinds of cells develop, and how to control when and where they appear. And the second workshop is How to Experiment (which is my favorite thing to do), Troubleshoot and Find Your Unique Style. In this workshop, the most important thing you'll learn is how to teach yourself! We'll also develop strategies for identifying mistakes and duplicating successes, and how to recognize your strengths so that you can develop your own unique style. Put on your lab coat and come paint with me in Dallas!

I 'rescue' any paint that gets spun or tilted off by scraping it off of the table, straining it and saving it to use as a base coat for future pours. Very little waste!
