Did you know that you can turn an ESP32-C6 development board into your own Zigbee smart device?
In this video, I’ll show you how to build DIY Zigbee devices using the ESP32-C6 — from a simple push-button switch to temperature sensors, touch switches, displays, and more.
I’m using the Waveshare ESP32-C6 boards together with the SONOFF NSPanel Pro as my Zigbee hub. The ESP32-C6 has built-in 802.15.4 support, which makes it possible to create your own Zigbee devices.
We’ll start with a simple example and then move on to more interesting projects using ESP32-C6 boards with displays and touchscreens.
You can build:
• Zigbee switches
• Temperature sensors
• Battery-powered touch switches
• Smart displays
• Wall-mounted smart home controls
• And much more
