Hugh from youtube channel ' wooden it be nice ' set a challenge in December for other woodturners on youtube to turn a clock in January, this is my entry, made from bike parts that i purchased at Canadian tire and a mechanism from Lee Valley, inspired by my recent want for the Bike that i had as a young teen.
I have been woodturning since 2013, i love it as a creative outlet and the community or woodturners is great, there is lots of help and support out there available at the touch of a button. don't be intimidated or scared to ask questions no matter how basic, most of all be safe in your workshop, follow all safety rules and guidelines.
use channels such as mine as inspiration and entertainment.
it is recommended to get proper training with power tools to prevent accidents
most of all remember to be creative and have fun
