2 years ago i picked up a few logs of applewood, they were wet,green wood, i placed them in black plastick bags and there they sat for 2 years spalting and drying, i finally cut them open and was amased at the spalting figure, and no cracks, so here i turn one piece into a bowl, finished with Yorkshire grit and Hampshire Sheen products
