CPRR1 (or Central Park Railroad 1) is a future private traincar that has been in development for nearly 25 years. To give it a spin in the real (virtual) world, I prototyped CPRR1 out of the Hitachi Class 801 power car. In this video, I take the Class 801 CPRR1 prototype out for a test drive on the East Coast Mainline, with motive power provided by an Acela power car. It's a bumpy test, from Train Simulator crashes to train crashes, but with plenty of info and laughs along the way.
