Dan Markel, a renowned law professor at Florida State University, was tragically murdered in his Tallahassee home on July 18, 2014. His death shocked the community and sparked a lengthy investigation that revealed a complex conspiracy.
Correction - the attorney who was with Shelly is Sarah Butters - not Jana McConnaughhay. Sarah represented Jana in that case where Adam Frasch was allowed to profit from the murder. So she was not the personal representative of the Estate of Dan Markel, but the attorney for the Personal Representative (Jana). All else still applies.
