Does God create through Darwinian evolution?
Can theistic evolution reconcile religion and Darwinism?
(Focus on Islam yet other Abrahamic religions may share the same stance)
Overwhelmed with an avalanche of “science” media, inclusion is education systems, and relentless pop culture overloading with evolutionary propaganda, some religious figures in the Judeo-christian world have taken a position of reconciliation with the evolutionary narrative.
It started with scientists following the Christian faith declaring that they are ok being Christian and accepting Darwinian evolution in the same time, and that they see no contradiction.
While this created a reaction in the beginning, from the religious side, yet, with time, the drift started, ending with the latest declaration from the Vatican!
Are we seeing the first wave of Muslim researchers/scholars advocating evolution today, following the same footsteps?!!
It is the case that the Darwinian model of Evolution is suffering from many set-backs as more and more discoveries are made that show its inconsistencies, that there is a buildup of will to move beyond it, though through more naturalistic proposals.
The reality is: Darwinian evolution will have to be rewritten for the third time due to significant failures, while in the same time, some people on the religious side are starting to hail the sick theory!
The question of whether Darwinian Evolution is consistent with Islam needs to be seriously addressed both scientifically and theologically!
In this video I am arguing that while Darwinian evolution itself is a failed theory, it is also inconsistent with Islam.
Invoking occasionalism (out side of its context) and other mental gymnastics does not fix the issue, but creates even more problems
I have previously offered Muslim researchers on the topic an open debate, and am still willing to engage, with those who are seeking truth!
