Is there benefit behind accepting the Theory of Evolution?
In this debate with Tony Reed, I address the question of whether accepting the theory of evolution (on the macro sense to explain the origin of species), namely "(Common) Descent with modification by Random Mutation and Natural Selection" makes any beneficial predictions to humanity?
The reason this is important is that many would just accept ToE, regardless if it represents reality, based on a (false) claim that it makes predictions that are good for them in their daily lives, which is not the case, in my opinion.
I have previously put out a video deconstructing those (false) claims that evolution makes such beneficial predictions, here you go:

Which is part of the On Evolution series, which also started by showing that the theory had no roots in realism.
A discussion was made with Tony where he held the position that the theory indeed does make beneficial predictions, upon which we agreed to have this debate. The pre-cursor discussion took place in the comment section of this video:

Prior to the debate, Tony issued a trailer committing to make the case that the ToE does have practical benefits to humanity on various front, HYG:

In this debate, it is my evaluation, that Tony did not make the case that ToE is a beneficial theory to humanity, but rather I showed that it is a theory of guess-work that only tries to find circumstantial evidence for its own self, rather than make real beneficial benefits.
