Many of us, after they exit the circle of sin and repent, they have high expectations that they can return to their previous state of piety with a click of a button, but soon enough they notice that their heart does not recover as fast as they would like.
They might develop a feeling that God does not want them or that He did not accept their repentance. But is this the case, or maybe their expectations from repentance and time of recovery of not realistic?
We explore what it takes to move from the point of repentance to recovery of one’s heart and state of piety, and describe the process patience and persistence that is necessary to get back to God’s presence after being away from it, where relevance is just the start this process, not it’s end.
