WASHINGTON (TNND) — President Donald Trump has been telling donors to get behind Vice President JD Vance for 2028, according to reports.
“At the end of the day, we need to elect JD,” Trump reportedly told donors two weeks ago, according to The Washington Post.
However, other sources told the Post that Trump hasn’t settled on Vance and may look for another candidate.
In the past, Vance joked about Trump endorsing either him or Secretary of State Marco Rubio and made a reference to the president’s former reality TV show, “The Apprentice.”
