According to New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman, leaked letters Harp left for Trump over four years drew concern from colleagues and attention from the Secret Service. The letters conveyed personal devotion, while colleagues described Harp as providing quick, unfiltered information and spending most waking hours serving him; her estranged brother, Preston, called her “infatuated” and alleged an “unhealthy obsession.”
