☀️ HOT START TO SEPTEMBER! ☀️
Get ready for another round of triple-digit heat across parts of South Central Texas.
🌀 TEXAS LANDFALL EXPECTED: Tropical Storm Edouard is closing in on the Texas Gulf Coast, bringing the threat of torrential rain and dangerous flash flooding. Some areas could see up to 9 inches of rain as the storm moves inland today. 🌧️
🌡️ TODAY: Partly sunny and hot with highs from 97° to 101°. An isolated late-day sea breeze shower is possible.
🥵 WEDNESDAY: Even hotter, with highs from 98° to 102°. Most of us stay dry, but there's a slight chance for rain, mainly north toward Austin and in our eastern counties.
⛈️ THURSDAY: Highs from 97° to 101° with a 20% chance of rain. An isolated shower or storm will be possible as what's left of Edouard moves across the region.
Bottom line: September is starting off feeling a whole lot like August. Stay cool! ☀️🌡️
