Another brutally hot stretch is ahead for the San Antonio area, with afternoon highs near or above 100° through Friday.

🌡️ TODAY: Mostly sunny and very hot with highs of 99–103°. It’ll be humid this morning before drier air moves in, giving us more of a “dry heat” by late afternoon and early evening. South winds at 7–14 mph.

🌫️ THURSDAY: Mostly sunny, hazy and 99–103°. We’ll start humid again before drying out during the afternoon. Saharan dust will also be moving through, adding some haze to the sky. Southeast winds at 6–12 mph.

🔥 FRIDAY: Mostly sunny and even hotter, with highs of 100–104°. Humidity drops during the afternoon, but temperatures will still climb well into the triple digits. ESE winds at 6–12 mph.

Bottom line: Stay cool, stay hydrated and limit strenuous outdoor activity during the hottest part of the day. We’re finishing the workweek HOT! ☀️🔥
