Beijing was always a dream of ours, so when we had the opportunity to go, it was unreal! The people, the food and the sights were better than we had imagined.
Beijing is a big city, but it's easy enough to navigate your way to the major sites. We hired a travel guide and driver which helped us to navigate through the city and then we were able to venture our on our own.
We took a taxi from the airport to our hotel which was in the city center (about 40 minutes from the airport). We were able to walk to Wangfujing road, which is where all the action is at night. The food vendors, plazas, designer stores all make their home here and are open late.
This video is about the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace, one of many amazing must-see sights in Beijing. We will be posting a video of the Great Wall soon so don't miss it!
