नवरात्रि का दूसरा दिन - ब्रह्मचारिणी देवी
ब्रह्मचारिणी देवी, दुर्गा के नौ रूपों में से दूसरा स्वरूप है। नवरात्रि के त्योहार के दूसरे दिन ब्रह्मचारिणी देवी की पूजा व आर्चना की जाती है। सभी भक्त इस दिन ब्रह्मचारिणी की पूजा करते है।
ब्रह्मचारिणी माता ने भगवान शिव को पति के रूप में पाने के लिए 5000 वर्ष तक बेल-पत्र और फिल निर्जल व निराहार रहकर घोर तपस्या की जिसके कारण माता को ‘ब्रह्मचारिणी’ का कहा जाता है। देवी पुराण के अनुसार ब्रह्मचारिणी माता हमेशा तप में लीन रहती हैं। इस कारण इनका तेज बढ़ गया। इसलिए इनका रंग सफेद यानी गौर वर्ण बताया गया है।
ब्रह्मचारिणी शब्द संस्कृत के दो शब्दों से मिलकर बना है। ‘ब्रह्म’ का अर्थ है तपस्या, एक स्व-अस्तित्व वाली आत्मा, पूर्ण वास्ताविक और पवित्र ज्ञान। ‘चारिणी’ का अर्थ है आचरण करना, अनुसरण करना और व्यवहार करना। इस प्रकार ब्रह्मचारिणी का अर्थ हुआ तप का आचरण करने वाली। ब्रह्मचारिणी माता के दाहिने हाथ में जप की माला एवं बाएँ हाथ में कमण्डल रहता है। इसका उल्लेख भविष्य पुराण मिलता है।
साधक नवरात्रि के दूसरे दिन अपनी कुंडलिनी शक्ति को जागृत करने के लिए भी साधना करते है। जिससे उनका जीवन सफल हो सके और अपने सामने आने वाली किसी भी प्रकार की बाधा का सामना आसानी से कर सकें।
Second day of Navratri - Brahmacharini Devi
Brahmacharini Devi is the second of the nine forms of Durga. Brahmacharini Devi is worshiped and worshiped on the second day of the festival of Navratri. All the devotees worship Brahmacharini on this day.
Brahmacharini Mata did severe penance for 5000 years by staying waterless and foodless to get Lord Shiva as her husband, due to which the mother is called 'Brahmacharini'. According to Devi Purana, Brahmacharini Mata is always absorbed in penance. Because of this, their intensity increased. That is why their color is said to be white.
The word Brahmacharini is made up of two Sanskrit words. 'Brahma' means penance, a self-existent soul, perfect real and pure knowledge. 'Charini' means to conduct, follow and behave. Thus Brahmacharini means one who practices austerity. In the right hand of Brahmacharini Mata holds a rosary of chanting and a kamandal in her left hand. It is mentioned in the Bhavishya Purana.
Sadhaks also do spiritual practice on the second day of Navratri to awaken their Kundalini Shakti. So that their life can be successful and can easily face any kind of obstacle that comes in front of them.
