The Federal Reserve's rate hold landed as a credibility test after its new chair Kevin Warsh talked tough on inflation and then declined to hike.

Shriya Samarth, StoneX Head of Rates, EMEA, explains that decision meant that the treasury curve bear steepened and the 30-year yield reached its highest since 2007 as a credibility gap opened at the long end.
