Someone I know informed me of an absolutely brilliant trainspotting location on the South Western Main Line, located between Vauxhall and Queenstown Road Battersea.
This is the busiest stretch of the SWML and perhaps one of the busiest sections of mainline in the UK - even on a Saturday when I filmed this video I managed to get almost 30 minutes of footage in under an hour!
All services are operated by South Western Railway using a variety of rolling stock, from their diesel Class 159s to Class 444s, 450s, 455s and 458s.
The spotting location is the top car park of Link House, about a 10 minute walk from Battersea Power Station tube station.
I really hope you enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed filming it! Apologies for the shaky footage, I was filming this on my camcorder which doesn't have the best stabilisation but has brilliant zoom.
