Cambridge is a major station on the West Anglia Main Line, the Fen Line and the Cambridge branch of the ECML, and serving much of the city of Cambridge. It sees a variety of trains, operated by Great Northern with Class 387s, Thameslink with Class 700s, CrossCountry with Class 170s, and Greater Anglia with Class 317s, 720s and 755s.
Cambridge is a very pleasant station to visit, with long platforms and all round pleasant surroundings. Unfortunately it was a bit windy on our visit, I've done my best to edit out the worst of the wind noise but some still remains. This wind also led to damage in infrastructure at Norwood Junction, leading to a couple of Thameslink services being cancelled.
Apart from that, another pleasant visit, not solely for the purpose of testing out a new camera!
