Leeds is a major railway interchange and one of the largest railway stations in the north of England. It is operated by Network Rail, and sees services by Northern to a wide variety of destinations using Class 150, 155, 158, 170, 331 and 333 rolling stock, LNER with their half-hourly services to London Kings Cross operated by a mixture of Class 800s and Class 91-hauled Mk4 sets, Transpennine Express using Class 185s, Class 68-hauled Mk5 sets and Class 802s, and CrossCountry with Class 43-hauled Mk3 sets.
This is the first part of a wonderful afternoon extravaganza spent at Leeds, with video footage for this part taken from the western side of the station. Joining me in this video was @jackallentrainspotter , do take a look at his channel. He does plenty of content from South Yorkshire and beyond.
