Edinburgh Waverley (also simply known as Edinburgh) is the largest and main station serving Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. It is the start and end point of both the ECML and WCML, as well as being on the Edinburgh to Glasgow and North of Scotland route.
Services are seen by Scotrail, LNER, Avanti West Coast, Transpennine Express and CrossCountry using a huge variety of rolling stock.
I spent around an hour here - Edinburgh was as busy as ever with trains left, right and centre. Similar to Leeds, it is difficult to capture trains from a single vantage point, so I tried to capture as much of the interesting stuff going in either direction as I could.
Stay till the end of the video for some bonus shots from an absolutely incredible trainspotting location that is definitely worth visiting in Edinburgh if you're good at climbing stairs...
