Trains at East Ham railway station, London
1) Silent Super 8 film from 1988 showing the Gatwick Express railtour through this station and District line D78 trains (with D stock train sounds dubbed from other locations)
2) A few still images of the station which date from 2014 - these also include one of the last 'lightbox' next train information displays

This station still retains many Victorian & Edwardian features - and signage for a cup of tea at tuppence / 2d ! (real money - £sd).
Also visible (especially in the cover image) is the LTSR logo in the metal scrollwork at the top of the platform canopy support poles. This is the railway company that built this station - following nationalisation in 1948 this became a British Railways station with ownership only being transferred to the (then) London Transport in 1969.

Mainline trains no longer call here and their platforms are now disused - this includes both services from Fenchurch Street station (nowadays known as C2C) and services from Woodgrange Park (and St Pancras) stations - instead these trains now all go to Barking and are known as the London Overground 'Goblin' service.
Between 1910 and 1939 this is one of the stations where the through Ealing Broadway - Southend-on-Sea 'Southend Corridor Express' train would switch between steam and electric locomotives - the other station was Barking.
