Trains and station views - still images and S-VHS video - at Gloucester Road Underground station in London.
This is the first of two films - this one shows C and D subsurface stocks (on the Circle and District lines) and 1973 tube stock (on the Piccadilly line).
Also seen are the lifts down to the Piccadilly line, the westbound District line 'white arrow' next train describer when it actually worked (nowadays its still there but non-working) and on the D stock the illuminated surround around the buttons that were used to open the passenger doors.
1990s era S-VHS image quality is not as good as HD or 4K video - especially not in a semi-dark environment - but its all we had in those days.
The plan is for film 2 to be released in the second half of December 2025 but it might be after a Class 455 film
