Duisburg Hbf is one of the most important railway stations in the Rhein-Ruhr region, sitting at the large railway junction between cities in the Rhein region like Cologne / Düsseldorf, and cities in the Ruhr region like Essen and Dortmund. It sees a large variety of S-Bahn, regional, express and intercity services all across Germany.
I visited Duisburg Hbf during a period of extensive renovation, where the entire set of 12 platforms are being effectively rebuilt in stages. The construction work made it difficult to film everything from one vantage point, but I still really enjoyed my time here, and wherever you stand there's plenty of variety.
