Birmingham New Street is a major station located on the West Coast Main Line, Cross Country route and Cross City lines, and is the busiest station in the UK outside of London.
It sees a massive variety of trains from Class 390 Pendolino and Class 221 Super Voyager sets by Avanti, to Class 172s, 323s and 350s with LNWR/West Midlands Railway, Class 170 Turbostars and Class 220/221 with CrossCountry and Class 158/175 units operated by Transport for Wales, to name but a few!
I spent a good hour and a bit or so filming all there was to see at Birmingham New Street station at the heart of the UK. The only thing I was disappointed with was that I ran out of time before my connection! Being such a busy station, there seems to be an endless amount to see. Still a solid 33 minutes of footage though!
I was also a bit disappointed by the jet fans which seemed to be desperately trying to be heard over me. Hopefully you can still hear my narration in this video.
My next video will be from New Cross on the South Eastern Main Line.
