This video is a very special video that comes to you from Tokyo - with a population of 37 million people, it is the largest city in the world!
Of course, the world's largest city has an equally large, expansive and frankly amazing transport network, of which I cover only a tiny fraction in this video today.
We explore Tokyo's Shinkansen bullet trains, world-famous for their impeccable punctuality and service quality, as well as Tokyo's subterranean metro network operated by Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway, the busy Yamanote line, the world's fastest monorail, and so much more.
This video has taken a lot of time to make and was one of my most interesting trainspotting trips ever, I hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed filming in Tokyo!
