Barking Riverside station is the terminus of a new spur built from Barking, to connect the isolated area of Barking Riverside, due to open in summer 2022. There is no concrete opening date yet. I visited this station when London Overground were operating trial services between Barking and Barking Riverside. This video is a short overview of the new station, as well as some shots of trains arriving and departing at the respective stations.
Hope this video gives some sort of insight into the new station and line and that it's informative in some way.
