After playing through the entire trails series in 2020, I felt a bit lost when there were no more titles to play. I was so surprised at how easily I fell in love with the series, and it quickly became one of my favorite video game series of all time. Trails into Reverie, the tenth, and latest title in this massive series, is set months after Cold Steel 4, and to put it simply, it’s kind of like a massive thank you to all the fans who have stuck around for so long. If you are a fan of the series, you’re going to love everything this game has to offer, but if you haven’t played any of them before, there are definitely other Trails titles that you should play before this.

From the moment Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was first announced, I knew that we were in for something special, but I had no idea how special it would be. Clair Obscur was developed by French independent studio Sandfall Interactive, which is made up of only 30 people. The game takes inspiration from JRPGs, such as Final Fantasy and Persona, and it really feels like the game was crafted by long time JRPG fans, with their love of the genre, shining through every step of the way. What Sandfall Interactive created in their debut title, is nothing short of a masterpiece. One that will no doubt be in contention for Game of the Year!
There is absolutely zero reason why you should not play Clair Obscur, and I’m here to tell you why, in the most spoiler free way possible.

The reason I decided to play Hades was due to the overwhelming acclaim that it has received since its release. That, and the fact that it’s the fourth title from Supergiant games, and they do not know how to make a bad game. In fact, I would go as far to say that Hades is their best work yet!
This Roguelike dungeon crawling RPG even received a nomination for Game of the Year at the game awards, and I certainly wouldn’t have been upset if it won...... It’s that good.
This review is going to look into why Hades is an absolute masterpiece, and a must play for every gamer.

Has anyone out there heard of Fuga: Melodies of Steel? I feel that no one is talking about this game. It’s almost like it completely flew under the radar, and this is a shame, because Fuga: Melodies of steel is a really enjoyable turn based RPG, with kitties! And puppies!
Fuga: Melodies of Steel is the latest title in the long running Little Tail Bronx series. This series is developed by CyberConnect 2, who have developed some pretty big titles, in including the .Hack series, DBZ Kakarot, and about a million, Naruto games.
If you’re after a fairly short, simple JRPG, with cute characters and a solid turn based system that can be quite challenging, Then Fuga: Melodies of steel is worth looking into.

In 1995, which was somehow around 25 years ago, a little RPG was released by Konami on the Playstation 1. Little did I know then, that said RPG would the debut title of my favorite game series of all time. I’m talking about Suikoden, and if you’ve been subbed to my channel for a while, you’ll know how much of a fan I am. I used to live and breath this series, and even spend the most part of 3 years running a Suikoden Role Play site called Castle North Wind. This series played a massive part of my younger years, and it’s these types of games we will never forget.
The Suikoden series did things that few games, even today, are able to achieve. I’m talking story-telling, character development, multi-game world building and other innovative mechanics that were well ahead of their time. For me, the Suikoden series is the bar in these areas, and it all started in 1995, with Suikoden 1.

Sometimes, it just isn’t enough to beat a JRPG. If we level up more than we should, find the strongest weapons in the game, and locate everybodys lost cats, chances are the final boss will be a walk in the park. And for this reason, we have the Super Boss.
These crazy powerful bosses come in a range of different shapes and sizes, but they all have two things in common.
Firstly, they’re optional, and usually pop up towards the end of the game.
Secondly, they are much more powerful than the final boss of the main story.
This video is going to look at my top 10 JRPG superbosses of all time. To create my list, I’ve spent the last several years of my life developing a highly complex algorithm, using computational Masamune-physics and quantem-ragnaroki-dynamics, and this accounts for a range of different factors, including:

So, a few days ago I had a dream that involved the announcement of Breath of Fire VI. Not that Japanese exclusive mobile crap, but a proper, modern, mainline Breath of Fire title. Unfortunately, that dream ruined my day, as it only took a few second to hit me that a real Breath of Fire 6 (or 7) is just not happening! But then I got thinking, what have all the staff been up to over the years? Why couldnt they unite for a sequel?
This video is going to take a look at what the main people behind the series have been up to. All of these talented legends played a part in the development of two or more Breath of Fire titles. We’ll start small, but then move up to those who played the most significant roles.
