The reason I decided to play Hades was due to the overwhelming acclaim that it has received since its release. That, and the fact that it’s the fourth title from Supergiant games, and they do not know how to make a bad game. In fact, I would go as far to say that Hades is their best work yet!
This Roguelike dungeon crawling RPG even received a nomination for Game of the Year at the game awards, and I certainly wouldn’t have been upset if it won...... It’s that good.
This review is going to look into why Hades is an absolute masterpiece, and a must play for every gamer.

Has anyone out there heard of Fuga: Melodies of Steel? I feel that no one is talking about this game. It’s almost like it completely flew under the radar, and this is a shame, because Fuga: Melodies of steel is a really enjoyable turn based RPG, with kitties! And puppies!
Fuga: Melodies of Steel is the latest title in the long running Little Tail Bronx series. This series is developed by CyberConnect 2, who have developed some pretty big titles, in including the .Hack series, DBZ Kakarot, and about a million, Naruto games.
If you’re after a fairly short, simple JRPG, with cute characters and a solid turn based system that can be quite challenging, Then Fuga: Melodies of steel is worth looking into.

In 1995, which was somehow around 25 years ago, a little RPG was released by Konami on the Playstation 1. Little did I know then, that said RPG would the debut title of my favorite game series of all time. I’m talking about Suikoden, and if you’ve been subbed to my channel for a while, you’ll know how much of a fan I am. I used to live and breath this series, and even spend the most part of 3 years running a Suikoden Role Play site called Castle North Wind. This series played a massive part of my younger years, and it’s these types of games we will never forget.
The Suikoden series did things that few games, even today, are able to achieve. I’m talking story-telling, character development, multi-game world building and other innovative mechanics that were well ahead of their time. For me, the Suikoden series is the bar in these areas, and it all started in 1995, with Suikoden 1.

Sometimes, it just isn’t enough to beat a JRPG. If we level up more than we should, find the strongest weapons in the game, and locate everybodys lost cats, chances are the final boss will be a walk in the park. And for this reason, we have the Super Boss.
These crazy powerful bosses come in a range of different shapes and sizes, but they all have two things in common.
Firstly, they’re optional, and usually pop up towards the end of the game.
Secondly, they are much more powerful than the final boss of the main story.
This video is going to look at my top 10 JRPG superbosses of all time. To create my list, I’ve spent the last several years of my life developing a highly complex algorithm, using computational Masamune-physics and quantem-ragnaroki-dynamics, and this accounts for a range of different factors, including:

It’s been over 20 years since I first player Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete. I was only in my teens at that point in my life, yet somehow, it feels like it was only yesterday. The characters, the music, the theme song, it all seems to familiar, which is saying a lot because I don’t remember what I had for breakfast.
There’s something special about Lunar:SSS that has stayed with me, for a large part of my life, and I can’t quite pinpoint why that is. The game was developed by Game Arts. Yup, the same studio that brought us the Grandia series. If there’s two words that I could use to sum up the Lunar SSS experience, it would be charming, and timeless!

Back in 2020, I missed the Yakuza: Like a Dragon train. You can’t play everything, and Like a Dragon unfortunately slipped through the cracks. It wasn’t until last month that I finally picked it up, to see what all the fuss was about, and I am so glad I did, because it was one hell of an experience.
The best part about waiting 3 years to play it, is that I would only have to wait a couple of weeks for its sequel: Infinite Wealth.
For a bit of context. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is the 8th title in the Yakuza series, which has recently been rebranded to Like a Dragon. Infinite Wealth is a direct sequel to Yakuza: Like a Dragon, retaining the core mechanics, and once again, featuring Ichiban as the main character.
