Flying Formation Without Knowing It is NOT Recommended!! I DID NOT Consent to being in that Flight! Those were a couple other "working titles" for this one - That’s what happened during my 2024 Fisk Arrival… (the full episode is on YouTube now)
Both Matt and I are wearing Bose Aviation A30 headsets, which are a huge asset for clear communications on a flight like this! It is critical to be able to hear everything, and be heard clearly; At no time did either of us have any issues understanding the constant radio chatter while also being able to easily talk to each other over the intercom.
Shout out to GarminAviaiton for a solid panel - I'd never have noticed that traffic risk otherwise - and I genuinely love SiriusXM Aviation - having access to weather data while flying is a game changer! (I did have to divert from my planned staging airport due to low ceilings that would have precluded a VFR departure - although for once, the flight into KOSH this year did not involve dodging legit storms :)
