Sharing epic corners of the Aviation World is what Flight Chops is all about.
Spending the week leading up to AirVenture 2025, training with the BETA Technologies photo chase crew flying the A-Star practicing with their new gimbal rig was an amazing experience.
The pay off was being on board during the air show, capturing the process as the team pulled off their carefully rehearsed shots of the all-electric CX300 flying in the show!
EAA AirVenture is the world's biggest airshow: thousands of pilots fly in with their planes, and hundreds of thousands of aviation enthusiasts attend on foot.
PILOTS planning to fly the Fisk Arrival: Don't forget to start reviewing the notice (formerly NOTAM) to familiarize yourself with the procedures - it is ~35 pages and not too daunting if you take the time to prepare.
Fly safe and see you at Oshkosh!
I’ll be at IAC with the airplane (and the Museum Chipmunks this year!) as often as I can.

FLIGHT CHOPS DISCLAIMER:
I am a "weekend warrior" private pilot, I fly for fun with no intentions of going commercial. I have had my PPL for over 20 years, but still consider each flight a learning experience - I generally take detailed notes after each flight to remind myself what went well or what I could do to improve.... Having GoPro cameras to record flights like this is invaluable. I find these self analysis videos very helpful in my constant quest to improve, and am happy to share. Feedback is invited; however, please keep it positive.
