Traffic restrictions are being introduced along a section of Codrington Road, St Michael, as the National Stadium redevelopment moves into its second phase.

From August 31 until November 28, 2026, motorists will be diverted through Stadium Road to facilitate landscaping and construction of a warm-up track near the former lumber company building.

Motorists travelling from Bush Hall Main Road towards Codrington Road are asked to turn left onto Stadium Road before exiting near the old lumber company building.

Drivers heading to Waterford from Bush Hall Main Road can continue towards the roundabout as normal.

The project is being carried out by Beijing Construction Engineering Group, in collaboration with several government and private-sector agencies.
