The TrackMania Marathon 2020 is a journey through TrackMania's history - starting with the very first TrackMania game from 2003, we gradually move ourselves along the timeline of the arcade racing game's history and its development.

After releasing seven environments in three different installments of the TrackMania franchise, Nadeo decided to make the step and unite the community in one big collection with everything the game had to offer: TrackMania United.
Updated graphics, improved visuals, new blocks, an all-new campaign and many more multiplayer/customizability features were the selling points for this game back in late 2006/early 2007. And this game paved the path for the "Forever" expansion later in 2008, which we will also dive into in the TrackMania Marathon, of course!

The TrackMania Grand League returns for 2020 with the first official season! This time around, I will not be sitting on the commentators couch - instead I am on the racing tracks myself, holding up the flag for my new team Nordavind DNB.
With a slightly altered ruleset, 16 players representing different organisations from all over the globe will compete for the qualification into the playoffs where a prize pool of 10.000€ awaits.
Will 2019 champion Kappa be dethroned? Who will make it into the playoffs? Cheer for your favorite player & organisation!
Since I cannot stream my POV, I have recorded everything locally and recapped the race afterwards on my stream; giving you insight into my thought process and mindset, analysing situations and mistakes. I think thisll be quite interesting for most of you!
Third-person casts are available by multiple streamers in any case, though.
► Notable changes compared to the BETA season from 2019:
- 6 steps in the first phase (formerly 10 steps until the playoffs)
- 6 maps per step (formerly 5 maps per step)
- 6 laps per map (formerly 10 laps per map)
- point loss starting from map 4 onwards (formerly point loss kicked in on map 2)
- shorter warm-up
- 10 minute half-time break

This is a team-based TrackMania² Stadium competition specificially tailored towards the best drivers on the fullspeed map style. A total of 1000€ will be distributed among the best teams - and the line-ups look more stacked than ever before, guaranteeing an amazing match!

The Trackmania Grand League is coming to its final stage and after the season 2 champion CarlJr has been crowned in the playoffs, it is now time to determine who remains in the league and who drops out.
In four different game modes, 16 players (bottom 8 TMGL groupstage + top8 OGL groupstage) have to prove themselves worthy of competing in the next season of the TMGL. Spread across two playdays, the action is tense as I have to fight a set of amazing players for the spot in season 3.
