Hello world wide web users!
riolu reporting in for 4 new world records in Trackmania's brand-new Fall 2020 solo campaign which I achieved in the last few days.
At the time of the upload, all records were the current world record on the respective track.

Very happy with my run on 01, getting a .17 just a week after the campaign has been released is very satisfying. 01 is quite a gimmicky track where maximum precision is required - and that suits me perfectly (together with those juicy dirt and grass speedslides). Judging by my best runs and by gut feeling, a low .16 could be doable, perhaps also a very high .15 with some illegal speed gains somewhere.
02 is another full precision track which I obviously had to give a shot as well. Walls have to be hugged, angles need to be fully calculated and you have to 100% commit to each corner. Had a decent start in my run and got out with very good speed out of the chicane section. Unfortunately I had to slightly adjust my angle for the final corner, resulting in a late apex and a wide exit. Also, the reactor boost landing in the end seems to be quite tricky, unfortunately I lost a bunch of thousandths on my way to the finish line. Apparently my back tires didn't grip properly or something. Still some miniscule room for improvement here, perhaps a low .36 or super high .35?
04 was another track I felt comfortable on as there are a good bunch of dirt sections. The start is completely based on precision, which is always a plus. Coming out of the first drift you need to line up perfectly for the no-steering part into the dirt checkpoint. The goal is to end up as far left as possible without hitting the sand in order to have the best possible entry angle into the uphill right corner. The end is a little tricky and cost me quite some nerves - the setup to get past the trees, cacti and track edges is really precise and blind on top of that. After a bit of practice I developed some muscle memory for it though and some proper consistency resulted out of that, too. Most of the sectors can be improved, my end was pretty safe as well. Pretty sure we will see low .2 or even .1 times on this track as the season progresses.
I was really looking forward to playing 09 which is a full dirt track with lots of noslides, speedslides, gear management and other kinds of optimizations. I quickly gained confidence and improved bits by bits and after just an hour of picking up the track I was able to beat the WR. My run combined my best ever start with a very solid mid and a shaky end. On longer tracks like this, further optimizations and improvements will obviously be made. Let's see what kind of times we'll see here, at the moment it's too hard to predict due to the track's complexity.
Hope you enjoyed the runs, see you on the tracks everyone!

![TrackMania Grand League Season 1 | Step 1 [POV Analysis]
The TrackMania Grand League returns for 2020 with the first official season! This time around, I will not be sitting on the commentators couch - instead I am on the racing tracks myself, holding up the flag for my new team Nordavind DNB.
With a slightly altered ruleset, 16 players representing different organisations from all over the globe will compete for the qualification into the playoffs where a prize pool of 10.000€ awaits.
Will 2019 champion Kappa be dethroned? Who will make it into the playoffs? Cheer for your favorite player & organisation!
Since I cannot stream my POV, I have recorded everything locally and recapped the race afterwards on my stream; giving you insight into my thought process and mindset, analysing situations and mistakes. I think thisll be quite interesting for most of you!
Third-person casts are available by multiple streamers in any case, though.
► Notable changes compared to the BETA season from 2019:
- 6 steps in the first phase (formerly 10 steps until the playoffs)
- 6 maps per step (formerly 5 maps per step)
- 6 laps per map (formerly 10 laps per map)
- point loss starting from map 4 onwards (formerly point loss kicked in on map 2)
- shorter warm-up
- 10 minute half-time break

![Trackmania Grand League Season 2 - Combine [POV Analysis Part 1]
The Trackmania Grand League is coming to its final stage and after the season 2 champion CarlJr has been crowned in the playoffs, it is now time to determine who remains in the league and who drops out.
In four different game modes, 16 players (bottom 8 TMGL groupstage + top8 OGL groupstage) have to prove themselves worthy of competing in the next season of the TMGL. Spread across two playdays, the action is tense as I have to fight a set of amazing players for the spot in season 3.
Buy Trackmania on Ubisoft Connect and in the Epic Games Store.
