Tropical Storm Edouard is now onshore and moving towards Beaumont, bringing gusty winds and bands of rain.
Meteorologist Greg Bostwick says the center of Edouard was near the coast just southeast of Sabine Pass and south of Johnson Bayou during this early afternoon update. Winds around Port Arthur were running around 30 mph with gusts near 40 mph, with stronger winds expected to spread north toward Interstate 10.
