Bruggles mentioned that it could be faster for GM RTA to use this back right shadow beast to get to the bugs in front of forest temple, instead of the usual EMS one.
Original video of this EMS position: youtube.com/watch?v=TQF0s_el7nY
This example had basically perfect luck, usually you have to lure the first shadow beast to the wall. I line up with a horizontal white line within a big black splodge on the wall, and basically do EMS as normal. The jump is a bit more precise than normal EMS but was easier than I expected.
Again with the perfect luck, on the way back the EMS shadow beast isn’t normally close enough to the wall to be able to go for the normal position instantly. Usually you’d have to circle around to lure him the normal way, or go for the harder EMS position.
Of course I choked actually getting EMS with all that had gone well for me lol.
I kept messing up those bugs, oh well.
This can serve as an example of the ideal case for comparison.

Duping the fishing rod using epona, a boar, or vines, can be used to lower the games memory such that actors cant load. Notice how laggy it is with this many fishing rods, and how it freezes for a few seconds when finally entering the area to unload. I dont understand it so much, go to dragonbanes video.
In the Wii version, GAME heap got the smallest buff, from 4513,792 KB to 7659,52 KB, which is a 3145,728 KB increase upping the number of dupes required from 18 to 72, so 4 times as long as GCN (estimated). As many worms as are visible in this video is as many dupes (ish) as it took to get this to work, idk how many that is exactly.
This would probably be useful in a Wii 100% speedrun, if it hadnt been made impossible in the Wii NTSC 1.0 version of the game, which does this if you reach the same memory level: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUz2dn90S18
Happens because of a function that exists in Wind Waker called escapeRestart, commonly known as fadeout. This function isnt present in any version of Twilight Princess except NTSC 1.0.
Sad.
This is done on PAL 1.0. TP: Faron OoB with Fishing Rod Duping [Wii]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/GqsR46G2MCs/mqdefault.jpg)
