This week, it's a review that I had been somehow curious about and dreading for a while now, and that's Toys for the Genesis. Why was I dreading it? Well, if you haven't seen the movie Toys, you probably wouldn't understand, but let's just say, there's probably a reason why you haven't seen it, unlike the other Robin Williams movie that was in theaters at the same time, Aladdin.
Part of the review of course was me going back and watching the movie for the first time in over thirty years...and...it was...interesting. Certainly not the worst movie I've ever seen, but you've really got to be in the mood to watch a 50 million dollar art project, and not a Robin Williams slapstick comedy.
Of course, with the movie being not the greatest, what hope was there for the Genesis game of the same name to be any good? You can probably guess by this point how that went, but I was still trying to be my positive self, and hope that the game somehow miraculously came out better than the movie.
