After this machine sewed through 4 layers of leather with ease I thought I'd push it a bit further. This time I added 2 more layers of leather plus 2 layers of old Levi's jeans denim.

This machine is one of the few home machines that I can actually sew leather using V69 Bonded Nylon thread successfully. This is due to the pretensioner post that is installed on top of the machine. This provides the additional tension required to sewing nylon thread.
